Top 5 Games with Killer Expansions or Spin Offs

Top 5 Games with Killer Expansions or Spin Offs

There are few things more enjoyable than playing one of your favorite games, and even fewer when you get an expansion for your favorite game! Expansions are a great way for game developers to grow the world of their card game or board game; and we as players love the opportunity to get even more immersed.

We have seen so many table top and miniature game franchises follow this model, adding multiple game expansions and stand alone spin offs, offering more characters, customization and different events or locations.

As an avid gamer with a tightknit gaming group myself, I absolutely love getting to dive deeper into my favorite games! But you don’t need a committed group of friends to always enjoy these additions, many offer a simpler gameplay, or use the same game mechanics with a new theme you might be more interested in.

Here are our top 5 games with SPECTACULAR Expansions or Spin Offs. If you haven’t had the chance to play the core games, give those a shot! They’re all amazing too.
